QITRC at Your School
Can’t make it to us? We also offer engaging in-school presentations. Our team visits schools to deliver hands-on, educational sessions that bring the world of sea turtles into your classroom.
What is included:

Stories and visuals from real turtle rescues and what happens when a sea turtle comes into care

Information on sea turtle biology and anatomy, ocean health, marine threats, and what students can do to help

A chance to meet one of our passionate turtle carers

A take-home booklet with information for students and their families to continue learning beyond the classroom
As a small non-profit, our centre relies entirely on donations to operate and care for our turtle patients. We ask for a modest donation of $200 per presentation to help cover the time, resources, and printed materials involved — as well as the temporary loss of a staff member from our clinic. Schools outside Gladstone will also have to cover the costs for transport.
If you’d like to organise a school tour or an in-class presentation, please get in touch with us by filling out a booking request form.
We’ll be happy to discuss availability, logistics, and pricing details with you.
Your support helps us rescue, rehabilitate, and release sea turtles—and inspire the next generation of ocean advocates.
